EXTRAordinary Giving Project 2024
CANS & CASH
Join us in this year’s EXTRAordinary Giving Project – an opportunity to give beyond our normal giving towards local Outreach efforts. We have 3 local ministry partners to give BIG to this year and 2 ways to give — cans and cash!
CANS
Give the gift of canned goods! Fill a bag of groceries to support Everlasting Life Ministries. Located in the heart of Allentown, ELM is an outreach to their local neighbors who are struggling financially. Each week, they provide 80-120 families with free groceries. Every week, they also serve a free home-cooked lunch to 50-100 senior adults. And every Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, they host free holiday dinners.
Your extraordinary giving through shopping will help ELM re-stock their pantry shelves to provide meals throughout 2025.
WHAT: Cans and boxed food using the list provided below
WHEN: One-day-only dropoff on Saturday, December 14, 8am-4pm
WHERE: Faith Church, East Entrance
CASH
Give the gift of cash (via check or credit card) to support two of our local ministry partners — Bloom and Ripple Community.
Bloom provides safe housing to survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. Located in the Lehigh Valley, their mission is to provide a sanctuary where women find care, healing, and even employment.
Located in downtown Allentown, Ripple Community creates a safe space for people experiencing homelessness, trauma, or mental illness. Ripple provides both affordable housing, as well as a warm, welcoming community center to gather throughout the week.
Your extraordinary giving will help support the many ways these ministries actively love the community around them. Give through the month of December!
Unreached Language Group
Our team in SE Asia is growing! Over the last 6 months, we’ve sent 3 team members to an area where people have no access to the Bible or the hope of Jesus. Travel, living, and educational costs for this team total $100,000 each year on the field. Your extraordinary giving will be used to send and support these team members as they seek to learn the culture and language and one day plant a church within this language group. Learn more about the work they’ll be doing in SE Asia.
